Don’t always look for why it doesn’t work…
Look for what to do.
Look for the answer.
Act on the revealed solution.
Seek out and allow revelation to come.
Proverbs 4:5
Through revelation we conquer. A lack of knowledge only allows us to perish. Not knowing crushes our ability to succeed but having access to knowledge based on the wisdom of God enable us to thrive!!
Get [skillful and godly] wisdom! Acquire understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation]! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
Your hunger to find the answer that God has for the problems and circumstances you face will be the opening up of wisdom’s resources to your heart.
Jesus said this in Mark 4:23-24:
If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend…The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
There is a corresponding action to you seeking out and studying to find the answer you need. The more you go for it, the more of it comes back. The more you sow, the more you reap. The more you ask, the more you get. The more you seek, the more you find.
If you go after revelation, revelation will come. Revelation is fresh, revelation is exhilarating. Revelation is heavenly. Godly revelation is easily accessible to the believer and you are a believer!
What is revelation?
Revelation is the unveiling of a truth that is alive and working. It is an opening to your mind to a spiritual solution that has been hidden for you before the foundation of the world. Revelation brings illumination to The Word, understanding to a situation and an opening up of relationships.
Revelation is more than an ‘a-ha’ moment, revelation is God revealing to your heart and your mind the answer and consequently the corresponding action to the problem or need in front of you.
When you ask God for wisdom He gives it to you liberally, with no rebuke. Wisdom is the key to the revelation received! Revelation will reveal the answer, wisdom will activate the action that produces faith’s results.
Faith will then walk out the wisdom key for the revelation you have received.
This is all grande in a spiritual context, but how does this affect your life? How does wisdom bring answers to your doorstep?
Wisdom will give you the keys to raising your children. Revelation will show you what to believe for and what to say over their lives.
Wisdom will show you how to grow your finances from nothing to something. Wisdom will give you a strategy to support your boss and increase your status. Wisdom will show you how to reach that difficult person with Gospel of Jesus.
Wisdom will open up new possibilities for your life and give you the direction, the peace and the answers to act on.
Proverbs 4:7
The beginning of wisdom is: Get [skillful and godly] wisdom [it is preeminent]! And with all your acquiring, get understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation].
As amazing as being born-again and being baptised in the Holy Spirit is we must understand those experiences are only the beginning to the walk of victory in your life.
You cannot live off an experience with God. You must live off revelation of Him. It’s about relationship. Wisdom and understanding comes from developing a revelation relationship with God, His Word and His Spirit.
This is where answered prayer explodes. This is where you and I see miracles. This is where church life becomes exciting, passionate and praiseworthy. He alone is our source. He alone is our life and victory.
He alone leads us and guides us. Our spirit, soul and body becomes purposeful under His leadership. The revelation that you receive opens up your life to become the walk of faith and victory your heart so passionately desires!!!
