Time

What is time to the believer? Where does time intersect with faith?

Faith and patience. In the year of the building. Greater Room. Greater Things.

Scripture does not present time as neutral. There are actually several “times” in scripture:

1. Chronos

Ordinary passing time. Calendar time. Waiting rooms. Mondays. Processes.

1. Kairos

Appointed moments. Sudden openings. “Due season.” Moments where years collapse into one encounter.

The difficulty is this: Most people want Kairos without surviving Chronos.

God speaks suddenly. He often builds over time.

Structure and depth. He is building Preston.

• We see the building
• Do not get weary
• Do not put your eyes on the process
• See the development and hold onto what He is building
• Maintain the vision
• See the vision
• See the end result: souls
• A greater move

Tithe doesn’t bring increase. Your seed brings your increase. God provides seed for the sower. Show me what/where my seed is. God provides seed for the active sower. Start where you are at.
