• God’s covenant includes provision and increase, and He trains His people to prosper through faith, obedience, wisdom, diligence, and generous sowing.

Scripture Foundation: Vision → Challenge → Command (KJV)

Vision: God’s will to bless, supply, and increase

• 3 John 1:2 – “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
• Psalm 35:27 – “Let them shout for joy, and be glad… yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”
• Philippians 4:19 – “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

What “Prosperity” Means Biblically (without the weirdness)

• Prosperity in the Bible is not “money worship.” It’s covenant supply, increase, capacity, and overflow for purpose.
• The Bible frames increase as:

• Provision (needs supplied) – Phil 4:19
• Fruitfulness (increase and multiplication) – Gen 1:28
• Stewardship (managed, not wasted) – Luke 16:10–12
• Generosity (blessed to be a blessing) – Gen 12:2; 2 Cor 9:11

10 Pillars of Financial Increase (KJV, with “overflow” built in)

1) Covenant power to increase

• Deuteronomy 8:18 – God gives power to get wealth to establish covenant.
• Prosperity is not random luck; it’s covenant-backed empowerment.

2) The blessing of the LORD adds, not stress

• Proverbs 10:22 – “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
• If your “increase” is crushing your soul, something is off.

3) Seedtime and harvest is a law, not a vibe

• Genesis 8:22 – “While the earth remaineth… seedtime and harvest… shall not cease.”
• 2 Corinthians 9:6 – sowing governs reaping.
• Overflow isn’t magic; it’s harvest.

4) Tithing is covenant honor and opens heaven

• Malachi 3:10–11 – windows open, devourer rebuked.
• Proverbs 3:9–10 – firstfruits honor → filled barns.

5) Giving triggers “running over” economics

• Luke 6:38 – “running over” is literally in the verse.
• 2 Corinthians 9:8 – grace abounds so you “abound to every good work.”

6) Diligence is spiritual (lazy is not a fruit of the Spirit)

Use these like a sermon chain: instruction → obedience → supernatural supply → overflow

• She poured what she had; oil multiplied until there were no more vessels. Overflow ends when capacity ends.
• 1 Kings 17:8–16 (Widow of Zarephath)

• She gave first, then meal wasted not, oil failed not.
• John 2:1–11 (Water to wine)

• Jesus didn’t make “barely enough.” He made abundance.
• Luke 5:4–7 (Net-breaking catch)

• Obedience to Jesus produced overflow that required partners.
• 2 Chronicles 31:10 (Hezekiah’s storehouses)

• “Since the people began to bring… the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.”

Warnings and Safeguards (because people get goofy)

• Do not love money

• 1 Timothy 6:10 – love of money pierces people with sorrows.
• Do not trust riches

• 1 Timothy 6:17 – “Trust… not in uncertain riches, but in the living God…”
• Do not chase riches as identity

• Matthew 6:19–21 – treasure reveals heart location.
• Do not spiritualize greed

• Luke 12:15 – “Take heed, and beware of covetousness…”

• Romans 10:8–10 – faith speaks; believing connects to confession.

• Is your plan built on faith + diligence, or secretly built on hope + delay? (Prov 10:4; James 2:17)
