Honour for God is the root. Honour for leaders is the fruit. If the fruit starts choking the root, prune it.

Developing my values so that I can honour God, my leaders and those around me. No one is beneath me, I submit myself to others and release others before me.

God’s approval is paramount. My Values are a plumline and guide to where I honour my time and those around me.

I don’t not have to ‘obey’ without question but I have to honour with integrity. I don’t take on criticism because that is someone judging me outside of their comfort zone, basing their emotions where I have taken them away from their values.

If I criticise others I am looking at my perceived values as higher as theirs.

My values and someone else's values do not have to be aligned to get the job down. We can get the same job done but completed in a different way.

Some People’s Values Overwork, don’t stop - push through Last minute. Pivoting without thinking. Barking orders without personal tone.

My Values Rest - work from peace and creativity. Plan and prepare. Pivot knowing the options. Stay kind. Be personable. Use humour - not sarcasm!! Enjoy the journey. Don’t receive the pressure.

Honouring people means you don’t react with emotion. Don’t make decisions with emotional response.

Honour in Work

• watch and listen on work time
• don’t try and consume outside of peace or because of guilt
• do the required job - with minimum effort
• your true effort needs to be towards the people

My PRAISE must come from God not man.

• doing things to please man is not the correct motivation
• follow God’s plan will honour my leaders and not frustrate me
