Core Thesis
Hope is the reservoir.
Image directs behaviour.
Systems create outcomes.
Prosperity is substance to build.
Calling requires activation.
1️⃣ Hope Is the Reservoir
Hope is not emotion. Hope is vision of a preferred future rooted in Christ.
Scriptures
Romans 15:13 (NKJV)
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
- Hope flows from believing.
Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
- Hope defines what faith gives substance to.
Proverbs 13:12 (NKJV)
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”
- Deferred hope weakens internal strength.
2️⃣ Identity Produces Image
Declarations:
- I am worthy of my calling.
- The Bible is simple.
- I have the mind of Christ.
Hope must be anchored in identity.
Scriptures
Colossians 1:10–12 (NKJV)
“That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
- Worthy walking precedes fruitful living.
1 Corinthians 2:16 (NKJV)
“But we have the mind of Christ.”
- Mental alignment produces behavioural alignment.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image…”
- Image transformation changes outcomes.
3️⃣ Image Controls Success
Key Insight:
- My internal image needs to upgrade.
- Create a system that creates the correct images.
Scriptures
Genesis 1:26 (NKJV)
“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…”
- Image is God’s original design mechanism.
Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.”
- Internal image determines external life.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV)
“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…”
- Thought structures must be dismantled.
4️⃣ Prosperity Is Substance to Build
Key Insight:
- Prosperity is God’s idea.
- Substance to build.
- Building blocks for your life.
Scriptures
3 John 1:2 (NKJV)
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
- Prosperity mirrors soul condition.
Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV)
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth…”
- Power to produce.
Ecclesiastes 10:19 (NKJV)
“Money answers everything.”
- Money is a tool, not a master.
5️⃣ Lack Comes From Image + System Failure
Identified Causes:
- Lack of renewed mind
- Lack of meditation
- Fear
- Unbelief
Scriptures
Romans 12:2 (NKJV)
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
- Renewal precedes transformation.
Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night… For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
- Meditation produces prosperity and success.
6️⃣ Calling Must Be Activated
Declarations:
- I must establish the hope of my calling.
- I shall not want.
- In Christ.
Scriptures

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling…”
- Calling carries hope.
Psalm 23:1 (NKJV)
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
- Shepherd identity eliminates lack mentality.
Colossians 1:27 (NKJV)
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
- Hope is internal, not circumstantial.
7️⃣ The System Framework
Input
Word → Meditation → Identity Shift
Internal
Image → Belief → Expectation
Output
- Health
- Finances
- Relationships
- Work
- Calling
Strategic Summary
Hope fuels image. Image forms belief. Belief directs systems. Systems produce prosperity. Prosperity builds calling.
Simplified Model
Create Hope → Upgrade Image → Build Systems → Release Calling
Reflection Question
Are you attempting to build external results without intentionally upgrading the internal image you carry of yourself in Christ?

Some Ideas / Themes
- Keeping track with THE SPIRIT
- Holding on to our FIRST LOVE
- Maintaining and growing an ACTIVE HOPE!!
John 8:6-7 This they said to try (test) Him, hoping they might find a charge on which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger. However, when they persisted with their question, He raised Himself up and said, Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.
She had no hope until Jesus turned up. We have all been caught in our sin. Jesus came, not as accuser, but as redeemer.
In designing the church for the people we want to come… we must be relevant
- Not in outcomes but in receiving
- Not in how we perform but how we see!!
Hope - how does this really affect your life. How does activating hope open up the dream or the practical result we need to have a life worth living.
How does Jesus approach living? This how you activate biblical hope…taste and see…
How Jesus Approaches Living (5 solid, reality-weighted points with Scripture)
1) He lives from the Father’s will, not the crowd’s mood
Jesus doesn’t let applause, pressure, or panic become his compass. He returns to the Father’s voice and assignment.
- Core Scriptures
- John 5:19 — “The Son can do nothing of Himself… whatever He sees the Father do…”
- John 6:38 — “I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”
- Mark 1:35–38 — Jesus withdraws to pray, then chooses the next place to preach instead of staying where He’s popular.
- Luke 4:42–44 — Crowds try to keep Him; He says He must preach elsewhere. Apostolic mandate.
- Reality: crowds switch fast, people misunderstand, results vary.
- Hope activation: hope isn’t optimism, it’s alignment.
- Preaching angle: “Your peace can’t be crowd-powered. It has to be Father-sourced.”
2) He tells the truth about the world… and then refuses its definition
Jesus names sin, hypocrisy, injustice, and death without flinching, but He refuses to let darkness be the final narrator.
- Core Scriptures
- John 16:33 — “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
- Matthew 23:27–28 — He confronts hypocrisy directly (truth with teeth).
- John 11:33–35 — He’s moved and weeps at Lazarus’ tomb (He doesn’t deny grief).
- John 8:3–11 — He calls out sin and shame, then restores dignity (“go and sin no more”).
- Reality: pain is real, betrayal is real, delay is real.
- Hope activation: hope isn’t denial, it’s defiance with love.
- Preaching angle: “Jesus doesn’t minimize your wound. He refuses to let it become your identity.”
3) He moves toward brokenness, not away from it
Jesus doesn’t love from a distance. He steps into mess, touches the untouchable, restores the rejected, and dignifies the shamed.
- Core Scriptures
- Mark 1:40–42 — Jesus touches the leper (compassion that crosses boundaries).
- Luke 19:1–10 — Zacchaeus: Jesus goes to his house and transformation begins.
- Luke 7:36–50 — The “sinful woman”: mercy, honor, and a new story.
- Matthew 9:10–13 — “I desire mercy and not sacrifice… I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
- Reality: people are messy, trauma repeats, change is slow.
- Hope activation: hope has hands and feet.
- Preaching angle: “Hope is not a thought. It’s a Person who steps into the room.”
4) He obeys even when outcomes are costly or unclear
Jesus chooses faithfulness over quick wins. In Gethsemane, hope looks like surrender and obedience under pressure.
- Core Scriptures
- Luke 22:41–44 — Gethsemane: anguish, prayer, submission.
- Luke 22:42 — “Not My will, but Yours, be done.”
- Hebrews 5:7–8 — He offered prayers “with vehement cries and tears”… and “learned obedience.”
- Philippians 2:8 — “He humbled Himself… to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
- Reality: sometimes doing right costs you. Sometimes you don’t get immediate relief.
- Hope activation: hope is sustained by trust, not explanations.
- Preaching angle: “The cross wasn’t God losing. It was God keeping His word.”
5) He anchors the future in resurrection, not circumstances
Jesus lives like the ending is already decided. Resurrection shapes His courage, patience, authority, and calm.
- Core Scriptures
- John 11:25–26 — “I am the resurrection and the life…”
- Luke 9:22 — He foretells rejection and death, then resurrection (He faces reality with a settled outcome).
- Luke 24:5–7 — “He is not here, but is risen!”
- Revelation 1:17–18 — “I am… He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.”
- Reality: Friday feels final for many people.
- Hope activation: Jesus doesn’t promise an easy story, He promises a finished one.
- Preaching angle: “Resurrection hope doesn’t say ‘it’s fine.’ It says ‘it’s not finished.’”
5-line Hope Activation Flow (preachable)
1) Name the reality (no sugar-coating). (John 11:33–35) 2) Locate the Father’s will (return to prayer and assignment). (Mark 1:35–38) 3) Move toward people (mercy becomes action). (Matthew 9:10–13) 4) Obey the next right step (even if costly). (Luke 22:42) 5) Declare resurrection (the ending is settled). (John 11:25–26)
We must continually learn to activate and stir up hope. Hope being kept alive is needed to maintain our spiritual heartbeat.
Heart deferred makes the heart sick A DREAM FULFILLED IS A TREE OF LIFE!
- that tree is planted by the river of God
- Ps 1
(Contrast): Realization invigorates body + soul.
Atomic Habits · James Clear Distills habit formation down to making habits "atomic." Tiny, incremental changes are the one thing that makes building good habits achievable for anyone.
1) Abraham — Genesis 15:2–3 (NKJV)
But Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”
Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”
“I HAVE NO CHILD!!”
2) David — Psalm 42:1–3 (NKJV)
As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?
My tears have been my food day and night,
While they continually say to me,
“Where is your God?”
Longing like the deer for water. Desperate to go deeper.
Spiritual Hunger Spiritual Hunger is caused by tasting…
3) Disciples — Luke 24:17, 21 (NKJV)
And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”
But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.
After Jesus dies, on the road.
Abraham had no child. No hope. No destiny or legacy.
- God’s response: opened his eyes to the stars
- Belief led to righteousness
- How sure is Jesus → God cut covenant
God told Abraham of the future: Slavery, leaving + return of Israel
- The iniquity of the Amorites is not complete
- Your dream is affected by others
- You will step into sections of the dream
- Your dream may be partitioned by others’ actions
- The covenant is still true
Hope deferred closes your eyes → Pressing in to Him will reopen the dream.
The land was given to Abraham. His descendants took hold of it some 500 years later.
His son wasn’t born for another 25 years.
God has cut covenant with Jesus for His return. It’s been 2000 years.
Our dreams and hopes → Our promises from God will come to pass.
Allow faith to rise again.
